Yashica Optical Seiki Co produced a series of 6x6cm TLR cameras beginning about 1953. One of the first was called Yashimaflex. The camera name was changed to Yashinaflex about 1954, and the company name was changed to Yashica Co Ltd. about 1958.
Yashica took over the Nicca Camera Company in 1958 and branched into 35mm cameras. The Yashica YF of 1959 still has the Nicca name on the front.
Yashica continued making TLR cameras and 35mm cameras including 35mm SLR types. Cooperation with Zeiss Ikon resulted in the 1975 Contax RTS. It was marketed as a team effort of German and Japanese engineering. The famous Contax name became property of Yashica under the umbrella of Kyocera. Contax cameras continued as a prestige camera line.

	Stock No 1190 Yashica Flash-O-Set From early 60's, the Flash-O-Set is one of the few 35mm camera to have a built in bulb flash. This one takes AG-1 bulbs. The camera has auto exposure, the shutter fires however it takes a HUGE battery that I doubt are still available. But a great collectible. ~ The camera is in fair cosmetic condition with a few marks and blemishes.    Asking Price $50.00
