Stock No 2539 Kodak Bantam Colorsnap Made in England in the 1950's. Made for use with 828 film, a market flop that was paper backed roll film essentially non sprocketed 35mm. Cameras of for this film size are hard to find and have become quite collectible. This one is cosmetically very good, grey plastic top, black leather covered metal body and nice chrome trim. A coloured exposure setting wheel on the back makes it an attractive camera. ~ No rewind knob, as the 828 was a roll film. The interlock mechanism on this camera works, but the shutter, while it sounds like it fires, is actually stuck open. But you can't get film for it anyway, and it is a very nice collectible display piece, and sold as such. Asking Price $25.00 |
