Stock No 1621 Hanimex Duomatic This is an old rangefinder - I would guess that it dates from the late 50's/ early 60's. I have not been able to find out much about it. I cannot vouch for the accuracy of the rangefinder, as it does not seem to focus at infinity. The meter no longer works, as far as I can tell. The slow shutter speeds are a bit slow from lack of use - specifically the 1/15th which seems more like 1/2. ~ Generally it is in good cosmetic shape. It has the name "Margaret" engraved on the right hand side of the rear plate.  |

View finder fixed eye-level view finder (Pentaprism) with Fresnel lens and microprism range finder as focusing screen, built-in shutter speed meter. Film transport / frame counter quick-release lever, Pentacon Loading-System, fold-out rewind crank. Metering system TTL-exposure meter using CdS-photoresistor (cadmium sulphide) used with a innovative beam-splitter in the pentaprism using stopped-down metering. Exposure time settings B, 1/1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/15 1/30, 1/60, 1/125, 1/250,1/500 Mirror instant-return.
